Hit the pavement in support of your favorite pinnipeds!
On Saturday, September 23rd, runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in a beautiful, USATF certified 5K race along the picturesque Niagara Gorge.
Top runners in their age group will receive a special painting made by one of our rescued sea lions. Overall top male and female runners will receive a certificate for a free animal encounter.
Participants are invited to a post-race party at the Aquarium, which features healthy snacks, live music, access to our public gallery, and a sea lion presentation.
Please note: you must register by September 10th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. We cannot guarantee t-shirt availability for same-day registrants.
• Registration and check-in begins at 8am. (Race at 9)
• The race starts and ends at the former Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, a short walk from the Aquarium. Follow directional signage.
• Participants park for free in the Aquarium’s parking lot.
• Kids under 6 participate for free.
Registration is $30 ($35 day of race)
