On Saturday, October 28th, Black Raven Pottery will host a Kids Day in their studio located at 37 South Grove Street in East Aurora on the historic Roycroft Campus from Noon until 2pm. Kids ages 5-12 will have an opportunity to help potter Bev Fehringer create bowls on a pottery wheel. They will have fun learning how pottery is created by getting their hands dirty with clay. Apron/smocks will be provided, but the kids should expect to get dirty. Only one child at a time will be with Bev on the wheel and we apologize if we don’t get every child the opportunity..
We will also have snacks and drinks for the kids and a surprise gift for each child. The cost to participate is “pay what you want” and helps to cover supplies used. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Oishei Children’s Hospital.
