Birds aren’t the only animals that migrate. Every spring, on the first warm rainy night, the mole salamanders emerge from their hidden homes to make the long journey to the vernal pool to reproduce. Join us for a night hike to the vernal pool to look for migrating salamanders. The evening will end with a campfire and a reading of the beautiful story “Big Night for Salamanders” by Sarah Lamstein.
