Planetarium Show: Messy-yay! The Imperfect Beauty of Deep Sky Objects
to
Buffalo Museum of Science 1020 Humboldt Pkwy., Buffalo, New York 14211
Beyond the points of light in our universe lie a variety of clumps, smudges, and globs. Earthling astronomers could only depend on their own eyes in the days before telescopes and electricity, so these fuzzy patches of the sky often drew attention and imagination. French astronomer Charles Messier dedicated himself to drawing and tracking these mysteries. Now, we know these objects are bigger, further, and more unique than Messier imagined. Let's get a good look! For all ages.
A second showing takes place from 7pm-7:45pm.
