Snowman Making Challenge This second annual event presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of WNY is a fun way to celebrate winter and take part in a healthy activity as a family. The Challenges are FREE and everything you need to make a snowman – with or without snow! – will be provided. The schedule is: Feb. 5 – Martin Luther King, Jr., Park (Fillmore Ave. entrance), Buffalo, 1pm to 3pm; Feb. 12 – Buffalo Winterfest and Powderkeg Festival, Niagara Sq., Buffalo, Noon to 3pm; Feb. 19 – Chestnut Ridge Park, Orchard Park, Noon to 3pm, and Feb. 26 – JCC Benderson Campus, N. Forest Rd., Amherst, Noon to 3pm. Complimentary refreshments and prizes are included. The Healthy Zone Cruiser will be present with other fun activities. Participants may register on-line for the events ahead of time and then bring an eTicket to enter a drawing for the chance for more great prizes.
