The second annual Budding Tree Yoga Festival will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 10am to 5pm at Canalside, in downtown Buffalo. The event is free and open to the public and to persons of all ages and yoga abilities from the beginner to the more advanced practitioner. Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats and water bottles, and to dress appropriately for a yoga class and the weather.
Throughout the day, participants can join in on classes and workshops designed to introduce the community to a variety of different styles of yoga, and learn about the lifestyle that surrounds the practice of yoga. Instructors from many different area yoga studios will be involved in the event, giving attendees a chance to meet the instructors and learn about the local studios where they work.
In addition to yoga classes, there will also be health & wellness workshops scheduled, as well as a vendor marketplace offering health related products and hand-made items from local artists. Live musical performances will accompany some of the yoga classes. The class and workshop schedule is as follows: (subject to change)
